The dunes of Chigaga offer a deeper and more remote experience, at the gateway to the Sahara.
This itinerary crosses the Drâa Valley, palm groves and villages before reaching vast dunes, far from any infrastructure.

This excursion is designed for travellers who wish to take their time and experience the desert in its full scale and silence.

Itinerary

Departure from the riad by 4x4, heading towards the Drâa Valley and M’Hamid.
The route alternates tracks, palm groves and oases before arriving in Chigaga at the end of the day.

Free time among the dunes, sunset, dinner and overnight stay under a nomadic tent.
The following day, discovery of the surrounding desert landscapes before returning to Zagora in the late morning.

This excursion is offered on request, as a private experience, and is reserved for guests of Riad Dar Sofian.
The duration, itinerary and conditions are discussed with you at reception, according to the season and your stay.
