At the gateway to the great desert, Erg Chigaga offers a unique experience in the heart of the Sahara, where vast open spaces, silence and light create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Departure from the Riad in the morning by 4x4 with a qualified guide, travelling through the palm grove and traditional earthen villages, with a picnic in the open air. As the journey continues, the landscape gradually opens onto the vast expanses of the desert.

Arrival in the late afternoon at Erg Chigaga, where dunes rise up to 300 metres and stretch for nearly 40 km, followed by a camel ride at sunset.

Dinner and evening around the campfire, followed by a night in a comfortable nomadic tent.

The next day, discovery of the surrounding desert landscapes, including the sacred oasis of Oum Laalag, before returning to the Riad later in the morning via different tracks.
